It' s not a mystery...

I began mystery shopping about 6 months ago in order to supplement my income and because I enjoy doing something that I feel helps make a difference. I believe that the recognition of quality work is often over looked in the cooperate world and this gives me a chance to play a small part in rewarding a job well done. I know that all my reports have not been positive, but I hope that the criticism that I used was constructive and will result in a better employee. I have been on both sides of the counter because my father owned a small country grocery store, Price' s Grocery, when I was growing up. I worked in the store each weekend stocking, pumping gas, checking oil, and checking groceries out when I was a teenager. My daddy, wouldn' t have me act with anything but integrity, honesty, and common sense. I learned the importance of customer service. I later worked my way through school to become a school teacher. I have worked now for 23 years and know that I will retire before too long. I am not sure that I want to continue in the education area after retirement and mystery shopping gives me another opportunity to consider.
