Most Korean women use an 8 and 10-step skincare routine each and every day to help keep their skin looking healthy and beautiful and that’s why they have the best skin in the world. It’s more than a routine, it’s a lifestyle that has become a global trend. It may a bit more expensive than what you are probably used to but I am here to break it down for you!

Step 1: Wash with water or a water-based cleanser
First thing in the morning, cleanse your skin either with water, or with a water-based cleanser. Hydration is the secret of flawless skin as water removes the few impurities that settle on the face during the night, and keeps skin hydrated.
Step 2: Toner
It’s important to apply toner, the ultimate prep product, in order to balance the skin’s pH levels. If you don’t, the skin can become dry and dehydrated. Toner also repair your skin’s barrier to effectively absorb the next products you apply.
Step 3: Essence
Essence is a hybrid between a toner and a serum and hydrates the complexion, aiding cellular turnover for a smooth, young-looking appearance. Think of your skin as a sponge absorbing everything more easily.
Step 4: Ampoule
Ampoules are the ultimate skin perfectors. They consist of a high number of active ingredients to target specific skin care concerns. They’re used occasionally as a booster when your skin badly needs extra support.
Step 5: Serum

Step 6: Eye cream
